No. On Nov 8, we will only visit addresses in the shaded area.  If you live outside of the eligible area, you can fill out the form with your address and contact info and we will consider scheduling a similar event in your area.

All types of metal are eligible.  No single items above 50 pounds though, so no appliances, etc.  But the following items would be accepted:

1. household fixtures of brass, copper, stainless steel like faucets and plumbing parts
2. rebar, bulk iron and steel
3. aluminum cans
4. hardware like nails, screws, bolts, washers, etc

We will leave it behind.

We will likely leave them behind.  We don't want to take anything accidentally that you do not intend for us to collect.  Please label boxes or bags of items intended for us with ACL.

We primarily focused on items which ARE recyclable but which are NOT able to be recycled through the bi-weekly pickup of single-stream recycling through the city of Allen.  Scrap iron, styrofoam, and plastic bags that are put in your blue poly cart just end up in the landfill and slow down sorting at the CWD recycling facility.  The styrofoam falls apart into millions of tiny balls during transportation and handling and some of it ends up in the environment because it is difficult to contain in the wind.  But there are ample scrap metal dealers in the area, the city of Frisco has a dedicated styrofoam recycling facility, and plastic bags can be reused for litter cleanups.
